Along with the travelers on the annual sakura (Cherry blossoms) chase come the birds known as Mejiro or, Japanese White Eyes. This photo was taken JAN 11, 2013 at 3:44 on Mt. Yadake. Okinawa, Japan is the first place in the nation to have cherry blossoms bloom. Chasing the sakura, is what many nature lovers in Japan do. They will listen to the sakura reports and chase the blossoms from far south in the Ryukyu Islands, all the way through to Hokkaido in northern Japan. f/11 1/160 ISO 100 Pentax K5 with Sigma 50-500 at 500mm.
