As do many towns, Ft. Myers has an old movie theater no longer in use for that purpose. This one has been revamped into offices, but the exterior and certain interior features have been kept intact with an emphasis on historic preservation of this Art Deco structure.

What a wonderful tribute to that gorgeous old movie house, Mitch! This is one technology I'm really sorry is nearly obsolete. At least the facades and sometimes the interiors are preserved. We have a classic theatre nearby, the Alhambra, which is now a gym but with many elements preserved. HTD! #10524815

Super perspective and jazzy colors, Mitch! Same around here, unfortunately - in my much younger days I loved seeing movies at theaters like this (even before Roy Rogers hit the big time...) Glad to see at least the exterior is being preserved! #10524851
