Description

***
My neighbor's orange tree is exploding with fruit, not only in quantity, but in size as well. He was kind enough to give us an armful of oranges yesterday, telling us to pick more anytime we want.

Sorry to post and run. I'll catch up with everyone's photos later tonight. Thanks for understanding.

This is so artful, so beautiful dear friend. I love the setup and the look. The textured wall, the lighting, the fact that you set one aside on a plate, the beautiful colors. A masters work Mary. A winner dear friend. Have a wonderful weekend. #10522472

What a dream to have fruit growing right in the yard like that! We don't have fruit trees here. Not really. Apples and Cherries one province over but basically we only have desert cherries here.

I love the single Orange. Is he next on the chopping block??? HeeHee...

Very artful! :D

Don't worry about the post and run, Mary. I'm an expert on that stunt :)

A very appealing still life with a feeling of a cosy Winter's day with the dim light coming in through the window just long enough to set the mood. And I'm about to sink my teeth into that delicious looking orange on the plate. #10523971

Thanks for the kind words about this capture, Pom, Tiia, Kiki, and Ellen.
Pom, too bad about Canada's lack of fruit trees. Maybe you should come back to California and enjoy some fresh-squeezed o.j. here! ;-D
Kiki, I wish I could ship you some of these Big Boys, too!

HEHH! I wish so too, Mary.
Imagine to be able to walk out into my garden and pick an orange from a tree.
Well, I guess I'll just have to gone on dreaming :)
