In Philadelphia, New Year's Day MEANS: The MUMMERS' PARADE!!!!

And AFTER the parade (in the frigid streets), there's the Mummers' FANCY BRIGADE competition inSIDE the Convention Center. This is the second year that I have been privileged to shoot the "Fancies" with Bill. It's three hours of colorful, musical extravaganza to delight your eyes, your ears, and your IMAGINATIONS!

Are Mummers the little green Swamp Thing people or are they Alien gods??
They all look pretty creepy to me, but like BUGS, I suppose I could learn to love them if you do. Hahahaha! (Those ARE pretty greens, and I MIGHT wear that dress sometime?)
Great job with your technical's, Michelle. It's a very cool thing for us all to be able to see!
