Indiana World War Memorial at Night
Uploaded: December 19, 2012

This is just a close-up of the rows of Ionic columns on one face of the massive World War Memorial Building that dominates a five-block picturesque setting of War Memorial Plaza in downtown Indy. Sitting 210 feet above street level, this mausoleum-style limestone and marble memorial pays homage to Hoosiers killed during World Wars I and II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Love the architectural details and tones of this capture. It's a wonderful memorial for those that fought during the wars. The design reminds of the Greek and Roman influences. #10472716Leslie McLain December 20, 2012
