Through the Arches

A self portrait, just after sunset overlooking Islamabad. These arches are located on top of a small hill in the center of the Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan.
A composite of three separate exposures shot about 20 secs apart (time required to get back to the tripod, push the 5 sec timer and run back to stand in the next arch). Using Tokina wide angle lens, common settings of 16mm, f/11, 10 secs, ISO400 for each of the three exposures.

Dale and Mike you are both right about what you write above!!!
Dale, my run from the tripd to the arch was about 3 secs and I had 2 seconds to jump up and get into the pose. It was close but doable.
And Mike, you are right, holding my stretched arms steady for a 10 secs exposure was the toughest part and as a result my fingers are seen blurred.
Well, let me tell you what was the hardest part in shooting this. There is a good 20-25 feet straight drop in front of me, so I made sure that I anchored my feet well with the steel railing to avoid falling down before stretching my hands. So actually, the pounding of my heart during this one minute adventure was not just because of my running to and away from the camera but also because of the height where I was standing on !!!
