Dry Pond
Description: Lesson 2: Photo 2. Rule of thirds with negative space. The Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge is low on water. Last year at this time there were White Pelicans floating on this pond. I'm not sure how compelling my dead branch really is or if the image is even nicely balanced, but I thought so at the time I clicked away and when I first started editing it. I wonder if the dark area that runs across the image is too close to the middle (horizontally) and thus a bit distracting.
