Old and New on the Schuylkill

Uploaded: November 14, 2012

Description

---
Previously I had posted a wider view of this iconic corner in Philadelphia...but it was cluttered with vehicular traffic.
---
The pillared building is the 30th Street Station, behind which stands the Cira Center Building.
----
The Eagle carving is one of many animal sculptures that grace the Market Street Bridge (that spans the Schuylkill River).
