Very cool Lisa. I love your POV and the perspective of this shot. I find the red (is that a flag) distracting. But other than that I wouldn't change a thing. #1497710Jeff E Jensen November 11, 2012
Very cool, Lisa! I agree with Teresa on the flag, it's not prominent enough that it becomes a distraction. My other suggestion is to go with a 3x5 crop, removing the extra off of the top. This should eliminate the bit of sky that is showing above the building on the left. #10413875Elaine Hessler November 11, 2012
What a fun photo! I actually like the red flag-I think it complements the writing on the bottom left corner. The distortion of the dome is really interesting to me. #10414144Debbie E. Payne November 11, 2012
Very nice POV, Lisa. I am going to go with Elaine and say that I like the flag, too. It makes the eye go up to the top of the image. #10414230Rita K. Connell November 11, 2012
I really like this one Lisa at first I thought the flag was a distraction but then when debbie said it makes the eye go up to the top of the image I realize that it plays a great part in the image. so its a keeper for me. #10414389Aimee C. Eisaman November 11, 2012
First of all I love this POV and all the distortion involved. Did you get down low or is this just from a standing position? Great composition! As for the flag I would change the color of it to blue...would still draw a bit of attention, but wouldn't distract. I see a large dark spot in the sky. Might be something on your sensor. :~) #10414654Michael Kelly November 12, 2012
Wonderful POV for this shot. I like it!I do think the flag should go as it simply pulls to much attention in that position. I would not change color as it is a National flag (I believe) I also note the bit of dust causing a spot in the sky. Last I would open shadows just slightly. #10415757

I like the POV and would be interested to see how the crop works. Can you tell us what this building is? #10415795lisa anderson November 12, 2012
Thanks everyone! I'm taking the bp architecture class right now, so it will be building photos for the next little while. I'm not exactly sure why this dome building is where it is, or what it's for. There's lots of interesting architecture around where I live. #10416362Teresa H. Hunt November 12, 2012
I like the edit. The flag still pulls my attention, but not as much as the original crop. I wonder why that is? #10416388Michael Kelly November 12, 2012
Lisa the crop looks good. Still a sensor dust spot in the sky.The flag pulls because of the bright color, but less in the crop because it is closer to the edge of the shot and further from the ROT point. I still think it should be cloned out as it is still a big distraction. #10416464

I think your edit does look better. #10416692Aimee C. Eisaman November 13, 2012
I liked the original composition and the triangle that was made in that one corner with the sky. :~) #10416963Peter W. Marks November 15, 2012
