Back-Road Beauty
Description:
Coastal Maine can be beautiful in the Autumn – The fishing village of Five Islands is on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. You can arrive here by boat or it is accessible by a twisting and turning back-road that is full of character. Older homes are nestled into the tree-lined landscape while churches with tall steeples stand boldly giving this area a real sense of community. This old structure had lots of character – The freshly painted door made me take a second look…… One of the many treasure you can find when you get off from the highways and byways!
