The Lost Boot

3-image HDR, f/6.3, ISO 160, Nikkor 24-70mm, f/2.8 @ 70mm.
Found this in Brookston, IN while shooting this derelict building (which I will post tomorrow). It's a mystery how this boot came to be here, but it certainly provided an interesting photo opportunity

Thats a very interesting scene for sure Rona, love the rust and peeling paint, contasted against the boot! #1496733Ellen Hodges November 06, 2012
There's a story there, Rona!! Love the textures and of course, this cute boot!!! #10406530Monnie Ryan November 06, 2012
Terrific find perfectly captured, Rona! Have to add to the DST story - the small town near our Ohio farm was divided almost exactly in half by the Ohio-Indiana state line. We lived in Ohio but went to church, shopped, etc., in Indiana - you can imagine the confusion each year when Ohio switched to DST and you Hoosiers didn't! :-D #10406799Carol L. Wonderful find! In Tennessee, we often hiked on a trail called Lost Shoe loop- the shoe was nailed to a post! #10407675Terry Cervi November 06, 2012
