Sierra Mountains from the road to Mono Lake
Uploaded: October 25, 2012
Up bright and early to get sunrise images at the Southern end of Mono lake, we stopped on the way when we realized we were too late.
But, I've always been told to "turn around" and this is what we found, so it was a good start after all.

Very nice lighting, Dale. Great opportunity with the fresh snow. The area just below the snow line is the Parker Bench, which takes you to Parker Lake. #1494505Stephen Shoff October 25, 2012
I like this one, Dale. Great foreground. #10384555Dale Hardin October 25, 2012
Thanks for that info Craig. I hope everyone checks out your image posted after mine. It is killer. By the way, the "we" in my statement under the pix is Stephen that just posted a comment. Thanks Stephen. #10384575Ken Smith October 26, 2012
My friend and I were at Mono Lake last week, before the snow moved in. It's a beautiful area. Looks like a lot more snow there now. Nice job on this, Dale! #10384780Colette M. Metcalf October 26, 2012
