I really like this shot, Ray. It's a very good portrait shot, and also a very nicely composed image, with good colour contrasts and tonal range within the limited palette. I think I might want to clone out the little bit of light colour about 1/3 from the bottom on the right side. I find my eyes being drawn there as I look at the picture above this note, so it is a bit distracting--for me, anyway. Apart from that, though, this is a very nice image. (Very good looking "model," too.) #2924

Hi Gerda thanks for the comment, I under stand what you are saying, I will keep that in mind for future shots.
Thanks again, I need all the help, to improve. #4679

Hi Ray. I agree with Gerda--you could crop only a tad off the bottom of this, and you wouldn't lose anything. I don't really find the above distracting as much as the fact that the subject's chin is obscured by the blanket and couch. I like your angle here though, so I don't know how you could've avoided this without having him change positions--which would've ruined the natural expression on his face. You know how kids are--let them know you're taking their picture and they "pose." Very nice shot, Ray. #4690

Hi Piper, I would agree with you,I did not want to distract him, If I stepped over to my left some more, I would have blocked his view, also the lamp on my right, seemed to reflect the right amount of light . So I stayed right there. #4696
