Hoodoo's on the Bow River
Uploaded: October 12, 2012
This capture was taken from a raft floating down the Bow River. These Hoodoos took over 10 million years to develop due to water and wind erosion in the Bow Valley. If you look hard you will see a person in a red shirt below the hoodoo' s to give you a sense of perspective.

Outstanding perspective, textures and details!! The person in red certainly is small compare to the Hoodoos!! #10367131Phyllis A. Houghton October 12, 2012
Love your hoodoos Emile. My hoodoos at Mono Lake didn't turn out as well. They are usually called tufas there. My focus wasn't sharp, but I may post one anyway. Your photos are always sharp. I need to pay more attention to where I have it focused on. That is what I learn from you. #10367288Joy Rector October 13, 2012

Took my magnifying glass to find him with these old eyes, but it sure does give a comparison as to size. They look like giant statues keep watch. Love the pov, gorgeous colors and scenery my friend. #10367768JO ANN CLEVELAND October 13, 2012
