Beautiful - I love the spots of light hitting the ground between the cloud shadows. Soft rich color and very crisp. I don't see a thing I would change. #1491754

I can't argue with this one either. Doesn't look to me like you need to to RV over here -- you can get the same shots from home. But we'd be more than happy to have you join us.

I'm noticing the pixelation along the ridge line again. I had the same problem with my picture with the sign in it. Has BP changed its compression algorithm? #10366024

Fantastic! The light on the hill is amazing. The clouds are awesome. Nothing to not love about this, Debbie! #10366051

Stephen -- If you are having it and so am I, then I am thinking it must have something to so with the BP side. It is frustrating me to see the pixelated version on BP when it is not appearing in PS or LR on my monitor. There are conflicting requirements on the site. One set says no more than 1600 pixels on the longest side and the other set is much less. So far I have been going with the longest thinking that the best must be the largest. Maybe that is thinking backwards. ...

Wonderful how you can make a simple hillside look amazing Debbie. Love the light. #10367110

is truely a beautiful hillside. You have done a great job at capturing the light. its just me the only distraction I find is the left lower corner ( road ) but it must not be that bad because no one else has mention it. #10367237

Stephen Shoff October 12, 2012

Debbie -- I resized the upload file for my picture of the sign on the beaver dam. The pixelation seems to have disappeared, or at least reduced. You can see it in my posted image thread.

So maybe the 1600 pixels on the longest side is no longer operative.

What a beautiful picture! I happen to really like the road on the left-hand corner; it makes me wish I was driving down it #10367618

Brandi K. Mills October 13, 2012

Gorgeous! I agree with Lisa, I like the road. I don't think it takes away from the beautfiul landscape and helps you feel as though you are there. #10367683

Thanks to all. This proves that it is usually worthwhile to go back into older files and either re-process or discover one whose potential yo never realized before. This was one of the later. #10368646

I think this is a beautiful shot too, but I would love to see more of an HDR version as well....just for some reason I think it would be great! :~) Also I love watching light and shadow of the clouds as they move across the land. Can imagine it moving in this image. #10368662

I'll try that in a day or so. Today is taking on a life of its own. Yesterday we bought new appliances for the kitchen and today we are finishing up the bathroom in the hallway and hopefully putting the living room back to normal. It looks like Home Depot is in my house.

But the good news is we are going to a local fondue place for dinner - The Mona Lisa. Yum, I can hardly wait. #10368751
