Bow River Falls

Description

Located on the Bow river just before it joins the Spray River in Banff near the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel it was the site of the Marilyn Monroe 1954 movie River of No Return. During the filming the raft she was in came loose by accident and she went down and over the rapids and falls by herself but was unhurt. I used several filters in Color EFEX 4 in processing.

Exif: F Number: 10, Exposure Bias Value: -0.67, ExposureTime: 1/1000 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 1000, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 40.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV

Added to my favorites as you have everything going with this gorgeous landscape. Depth of picture is awesome. Love the birds up front, the log floating in the water, the water falls and pine trees and the majestic mountains. What a beautiful sight to see my friend. Outstanding. #10360983
