The Crystal Cathedral in Southern California, during a strange and beautiful half-hour as the sun was setting.
Per Wikipedia:
"The Crystal Cathedral is a Christian church building in Garden Grove, Orange County, California, in the United States. The reflective glass building, designed by American architect Philip Johnson, was completed in 1981 and seats 2,736 people. The church is known for one of the largest musical instruments in the world, called the Hazel Wright Memorial organ.
Since its construction, the building has been the principal place of worship for Crystal Cathedral Ministries, a congregation of the Reformed Church in America founded in 1955 by Robert H. Schuller.
Crystal Cathedral Ministries filed for bankruptcy in October 2010 and subsequently, in February 2012, sold the building and its adjacent campus

to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange for future use as the diocese's new cathedral. Under the terms of the sale, the building and most of the campus will continue to be used by Crystal Cathedral Ministries for up to three years before being renovated for use as a Roman Catholic cathedral. In June 2012, the diocese announced that "Christ Cathedral" is the intended new name for the church. #1489432Jeff Robinson October 01, 2012

It is always a joy my dear friend, to read so much about the picture that is presented. It really gives more insight into what the picture is all about. The colors are just dazzling and I love that glow. I enjoy the palm trees being in the picture as they are symbols of peace and paradise in their own way. The cathedral is stunning in beauty and design. Gorgeous work dear friend.Mike R. Howe October 01, 2012

It's a beautiful Cathedral Mary, love the crisp, sharp lines and presented here amid the marvelous tones of the golden hour, making it stand out. The silhouetted trees balance and provides wonderful framing. Well done. #10355019Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
