This turned out great. The ND filter was put to get use. It looks so smooth...and the moss covered rocks are tack-sharp and colorful. #10327543

Boy, you did a job with this one, Chris. The softness of the water combined with the crisp green and detail of the rocks--well, that's beautiful. #10327572

The contrast between the mossy rocks and the moving water is wonderful. #10328530

Thank you all very much! I love the slowed exposure from the Variable ND on this one--yet, I was so eager to use the ND, that I pretty much shot every waterfall we saw with it, and forgot to try for any non-ND shots of the same waterfalls during the trip. I wish I had a mix of both, in hindsight! #10328924

Well, if it got any better than this I wouldn't be able to stand it! LOL This is perfection! #10329556

Thanks, Dayna! This was one place where several of my long captures have camera movement in them... unsure why--don't recall it being terribly windy, nor the ground being soft/unstable... Very few came out sharp, unfortunately. #10330134

Love the soft, flowing look of the water, contrasted with the sharp moss covered rocks. A super image, Chris. #10341492

Description

'Foss' is Icelandic for waterfall. We spotted this shallow, but very spread-out waterfall running below surrounding ground level, along the road.
None of the actual falls were higher than probably 8 feet, but there were so many, and so many beautiful, moss-covered rocks and boulders.
It was a great opportunity to put my variable ND to use; I was a little obsessed with capturing waterfalls with the ND on this trip!
