Shelly, continuing to think of you during this painful time; keep taking time out to rest and relax; beautiful image and, impressive, hand held! #10324857

Michelle Alton 9/16/2012 5:47:04 AM

Beautiful image and your timing was perfect for the crashing wave. #10324929

Ken Smith 9/16/2012 6:17:21 AM

Hey Shelly, this is beautiful and you did great job hand-holding the camera, because I like the slower shutter speed's treatment of the crashing wave. I'm sorry for the loss of your mom but I know that each day will be better for you, and you'll always have the fond memories of your mom. #10324962

David M. Montero 9/16/2012 12:03:50 PM

Wonderful hand held capture. I probably couldn't do it even With a tripod. "Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow." #10325305

Anita Hogue 9/16/2012 12:10:14 PM

So sorry to hear about your mom.
Cling to the memories and let them find their way to heal you.
The love and laughter, the joy in the togetherness you shared...will make you strong.

Absolutely gorgeous image! #10325315

Linda A. Braddock 9/16/2012 12:40:17 PM

Shelly, Gorgeous Capture! I know this is a hard time for you, but the pain will ease, just hang in there. Best Wishes to you and your family. #10325356

I love the lighthouse hidden. The crashing wave reminds us that nature will shape our coast lines just as the sorrows we face today will shape our strengths for tomorrow. As long as you have the great positive attributes your mom splashed on to you so will youl have the same to pass on to your charges and family. Her greatness will live forever and never forget that. You are rock solid my friend and will be a beautiful coastline for those that follow you as well. #10325519

I took some time to relax and take pictures after my moms service. I am still not doing well, but I take each day and hope that tomorrow will be better. Have a nice week! I forgot the tripod so I did ok with the slow shutter speed.
