Good To Go - Bird Silhouette
Description: I like this image and I wish I could say that it was planned. I was photographing birds at the feeder and decided to try some shots of them perched in the tree. This one was seriously underexposed, but the outline of the bird was sharp and I liked its placement against the blue sky. I darkened the darks a little in photoshop to make them closer to black and did a little sharpening to make the bird really stand out. Later, I shot several series of similar photos to figure out how to underexpose like this on purpose.
