My World and Welcome To It

Description

Before I headed out last night, everything looked good for a nice sunset. Partly cloudy with interesting clouds, low tide, and a crescent moon setting. So I found a spot south of Port Orford (Rocky Point) where there was a sandy beach with rocks, a creek with a small waterfall, and some pretty yellow wildflowers. And it was a place where I could watch the sun set behind the Port Orford Heads. As it turned out, the sunset was better than I could have ever hoped for! The late James Thurber might have said, if he were sharing this photo, this is “my world and welcome to it.”

Quote of the Day: “Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness.” ~James Thurber
