Description

Picture was taken at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Rhinebeck, New York.

This airplane was built in France in 1909. The plane weighs 661 lbs. and the engine produces 35 HP with a top speed of 47mph.

This is the oldest flying aircraft in the United States, and is the second oldest flying aircraft in the world.

I see what you were talking about this is a GREAT CATCH. The entire experience must be awesome I'd like going up in an oldie.
My first plane ride ever was in an old rickety Piper Cub w/o parental approval. As if that would have made a difference ;o)
