In Ruin

Description

People pay large amounts of money to visit ancient ruins all around the world.
It makes me wonder if some day the Ghost Town ruins of the Saskatchewan prairie will reflect an ancient past...if they last.

I am so happy that someone with your amazing talent is capturing these ruins and bringing them to life with your gorgeous photo work. You are making sure that this history will not be forgotten. I just love the textures, tones, and look you accomplish. That looks a lot like an old singer sewing machine stand like my mother used to have. Keep recording the history of places like this with your beautiful photography my friend. #10281021

Unless someone takes it upon themselves to restore and save the ghost towns of Saskatchewan the only record of them will be your excellent photographs. The colors, tones, textures and clarity are excellent Well done Heather!! #10281316

Alas, they probably will not last, except in your excellent photos Heather. (Plus, I don't think anyone in the future will be interested in the engine pistons in the foreground.) #10281902

WOW, Heather - what an EXCELLENT capture of these sad ruins!! These kinds of photo's always makes me wonder about the folks who used to live here!! Wouldn't it be AMAZING if someone could preserve all this history?

I agree with Frank, too - that certainly DOES look like an old Singer sewing machine table!! My mother taught me to sew on her old treadle one!! ;-) Keep up the great work capturing these images, my friend!! :-) #10282906

Another piece of history preserved in another one of your outstanding photos. You should make a calendar Heather of all of your fantastic photos that you have taken of Saskatchewan, I'll be your first customer. #10283371

Excellent tones, Heather. At least they give you a place to photograph and preserve them forever. #10284559
