Hot Dog Safari

Uploaded: July 24, 2012

Description

These egrets can only be described as INSANE and not for riding on the Old Boys Back. They use him to get close enough to snatch up bits of hot dog that are not immediately swallowed by the other gators around him. As pieces miss his & other gators open mouths these two snatch them from the backs of the others where they sometimes land or from the water around their transportation. The GW was even brazen enough to grab pieces out of the water and between the open jaws of gators trying to reach the same piece. It's a LOT OF RISK for some NASTY HOT DOG.

What a great capture!!! Sounds like they are quite daring!

Re: our deck - when we had it built, it looked nicer than our wood floors; we managed to neglect it for a few years and everything must be spruced up for the wedding lol. I was trying to remove some wallpaper yesterday - another fun task!

Sounds like you will have to sod your whole lawn now! #10242321

Those birds certainly take risks. This is an awesome shot Jack, unique in fact and you had great timing to get the croc with its mouth wide open. #10242595

Opportunist: One who takes advantage of any opportunity to achieve an end, often with no regard for consequences...
In this case, Jack, it looks like there is a mama opportunist, and an opportunist-in-training.
Cool capture of Beauty and the Beast! #10243183
