Wow, wow!David Resnikoff July 23, 2012
Thanks Carla,It took me quite a while to get it the way it looks.
The Whale is gray, but with the blue caribbean waters, it came out blu under the water .
Selectively I left the animal with that lovely water color

You continually amaze me, David. This is a really fine capture with few elements on your side. Your finishing work is outstanding. I hope you have a great big wall for your underwater photography. #10241465David Resnikoff July 23, 2012
Dear Susan,Many many thanks.
Ps.-
This was my first attempt taking photos under water.
I´ll have to try it again, now with my Nikon
Arthur,
Thanks. I do like this version better. I took quite a while to work on it.

A very striking image, David. Your B/W processing with selective color for the Whale Shark with the blue cast from the water definitely gets your attention. Sometimes the best images are the result of a lot of sweat, but mean more when they are done. #10241645David Resnikoff July 23, 2012
Paul ThanksNot only did I selectively left the color on the Shark.
I managed to get the rest of the picture clear. The water was very murky due to huge amounts of Plankton.
So it was Cloning clear areas and pasting them everywhere needed.
Indeed lots of time and sweat, but I´m pleased
Thanks My Friend

I guess the Plankton makes sense, since that is why the Whale Shark is there. I think your effort was worth it. #10241728Christine Lobsinger August 02, 2012
