Just realized that I had just put up an image of Chicago that was already in a previous thread. This morning (everyone else in the house had to go to work...) I took some time do a series on Dale's challenge with only close-up architectural shots I did while in Chicago. No need to critique all, maybe just one. #1473921

These are all fantastic, Debbie! Of course, I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. Looking back through my blog, it appears that it's been a while since I've shot any of these. I'm in NYC this week, so I'll see what I can come up with. However, I came without camera (GASP) so I'll be shooting with my phone. #10221933

I like them all but especially 2, 3, & 4. For some reason I prefer these to the other three. I don't see anything that needs correction in any of the shots. Great work Debbie! #10221935

I'm going to go with the first image, Debbie, for the challenge. Besides being unique, it, amazingly doesn't look flat. It does look like it has some depth to it! Nice job. #10222291

Stephen Shoff July 09, 2012

Maybe that's because it makes my eyes cross! (lol) #10222292

Excellent series Debbie and all perfect for the challenge. I'm partial to the "glass high ways" because of it's variety of tones and real and imagined levels. #10223297

Debbie, these are all awesome. Where is the first picture taken, it is very unique and I would love to know more about it. I like the second one, second best. They are all great! #10224020

Intriguing, fascinating, and most of them have given me vertigo Debbie. I think I will take a pill and go lay down. #10224492

Aimee C. Eisaman July 11, 2012

Wow...so many great shots of windows/architecture here! I can't say that any of them need changes. There are so many crazy adjustments you could make on all of them to give different variations. The first one really grabs my attention with the bright yellow. Was that natural or did you create the colors in PS? :~) #10224752

Anthony L. Mancuso July 11, 2012

Great series Deb...I'd have to say I'm partial to the first image because of the originality of it. There are many angled architectural shots posted on BP, but don't think I have seen one in that color scheme as of yet.. #10225903

Debbie E. Payne July 13, 2012

Yes, I thought this first image showed signs of Jeff's POV's. And Peter, I don't want to be responsible for you getting vertigo and falling down, so go take a pill and lay down! LOL.

Aimee- here is the original in-camera version. I just wanted to show you how boring it started off. Most things are possible with a bit of imagination, determination and good editing software.

Thanks Tony. I may play with some of the others which are basically what my camera recorded and not what I imagined they could be.

I would love to see the original version, but I am not sure if it uploaded. Could you let me know where it is if it is somewhere else? Thanks! #10227790

Oops....guess it didn't send for some reason. Here it is again.
