Bob, Gabby and I were there a couple years ago but only for a couple of hours. Wish we could have spent more time. Your shots are just beautiful, Patricia!! #10207361Patricia A. Casey June 30, 2012
I know what you mean by wishing you could spend more time....this time we were there in June and it was a little too toasty for hiking....so most of the shots were pretty easy from just a short hike in from roadside....thank you again for your kind words & viewing.... #10207378Thomas E. This might be my favorite of all these really beautiful White Sands images you've posted recently, Patricia! The tonal quality and composition is out of sight! This is superb in every way! Did you not enter this in the contest? #10208154Patricia A. Casey July 01, 2012
LOL...I thought I did Thomas...but I checked and didn't...will enter it today under Digital....Thanks for the encouragement on this one..... #10208664Dee Langevin July 01, 2012
Beautiful capture of the desert with wonderful light and late day color. Love the foreground elements! #10208730Patricia A. Casey July 01, 2012
Thank you Dee....I had fun with this one..It started out as a total B&W transition..but then I played a bit....I may do this in a total B&W too before too long....I still love the B&W photography being done today and really soak in the masters of days gone by. #10208756Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
