This was the Balboa Naval Hospital, San Diego, established in 1922. Now belongs to the Parks and Recreation Department. I went in search of it because I was born there. :) #1471198

Great DOF Kathy.

Did you say your were born in a park?? Just kidding.

The name Naval Hospital leads me to believe that you are from a Navy family. Is that correct? #10202829

Thanks Irene. It was a challenge trying to get just the right angle.

Actually Daddy always said I was born in the San Diego Zoo. (Ha ha) My dad was in the Navy but received a medical discharge. We didn't stay in California long though. I decided I needed to go back since this year is a milestone birthday for me. I am fixing to turn 60. Yikes, I said it! :) #10202871

Kathy,

The Naval Hospital looks like one of the buildings in Balboa, Panama. It has a very good DOF and you positioned yourself just right to show the Naval Hospital's architecture. Very nice. #10237630
