Bend it like Beckham

Description

Shot this inside the Pakistan Monument under the four-petals structure on a twilight. The full picture of the monument can be seen here: https://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/big.php?photoID=13023147

The camera was placed in a precariously upright position on the floor inside the iron grill (just above the pool of water). Using the timer on the camera I ran and put myself in the frame.

F/16, 5 secs, ISO 200. Tokina 11mm, manual mode.

Fantastic, Usman! Terrific lines and light, and nice to see you! (plus, kudos on the taking a chance on the precarious set-up) #1466967

Haha!! How many times did you run and get into that position in time? What a truly magnificent image, Usman, the colours and the lighting along with the shape of the Monument is outstanding!!

You're probably in great shape now after all of that sprinting, Usman. LOL. What a fantastic shot! #10231505

From your earlier shots of this (showing more "points" of the structure, I had no idea what scale it really was; it is fascinating to see the size up close, in relation to the silhouetted person. Very nice! #10231591

Wow, so dramatic. Outstanding, truly! #10234130
