Description

A photo of a 10-20mm Braconid wasp (Callibracon sp.) cleaning its wings with the hind legs on a tree branch. These wasps parasitise other insects and larvae. I assume this one was after longicorn beetle larvae in the wood. It lays its eggs in or on the larvae and the wasps larva parasitise the host.
