Chow was a good looking dog Chris! A wonderful image and a very sad story! #1465419Laura E. Swan May 26, 2012
Poor Chow. I agree with John. She had a very sweet face. I am glad she got to stay in the family after your folks were gone. It's so sad losing our pets. I'm very sorry to hear this, Chris.Love, Laura xo #10154614

so sad... #10158332Mary K. Robison May 29, 2012
What a sweet capture to remember Chow by, Chris! She got a lot of love for 17 years, first with your parents, then with your sister. And there's no doubt she gave just as much love in return. When the sadness of losing her finally begins to lift, photos of Chow's happy, friendly face will bring her back to you and your family again and again...

Thanks for your comments on Chow's passing. She was a funny one, she really belonged to Dad, when he was no longer around she moved on to Mum & wouldn't let her out of the house, she'd stand behind Mum & hold on to her clothes so we couldn't take her out. Then she took over my sister & kept a close eye on her for the past 6 years, making sure she wasn't going to leave her. Many thanks to you all. #10158544Wm Nosal May 29, 2012
Sorry About Chow, ChrisChris Ebben May 29, 2012
Thanks so much. Only the day before, there she was getting around the yard with the other dogs, wearing her little coat. #10160489Alice Lero May 30, 2012

What an adorable face and expression. What a great loss this must be, Chris. #10163951Chris Ebben May 31, 2012
Thanks Patrick & Kiki, Chow had lots of character, when she first came to live with my parents, she run along the back of the lounge & pull Mum's hair, then run back & sit next to Dad like she knew nothing about it. #10164021Phyllis A. Houghton June 02, 2012
You have a wonderful portrait to remember her by. It would be nice to have the picture in a photo book. You have great memories as she sounds very playful. #10165770Ellen Hodges June 03, 2012
Very cute capture of your family's little buddy, Chris!! You all made a great life for Chow! Sorry for your loss!!!! Funny, playful, story, too. #10167013Chris Ebben June 04, 2012
Thank you both. I have lots of funny stories about Chow, like after Dad passed away Chow really liked it when my cousin Glenda & her husband Johnny came to visit. Chow would sleep between them every-time, she never did that to anyone else. #10168317Jorgen Jensen June 06, 2012
Chow was a cute dog :-) #10170252Ann Coates June 09, 2012

Thanks so very much. #10175487Debbie Bray June 12, 2012
How terrible - 17 years old is a part of the furniture!! You really miss a pet after having them that long, you turn around, and they're not there. I bet there were some tears!! Cute capture of Chow. #10177287Chris Ebben June 12, 2012
Thanks Debbie. It was a very trying time, being sad at chow's passing away & putting on a brave face for the surprise party. #10177989Avril Young June 13, 2012
just so sad, such a darling face, wonderful to know that she was so loved and well cared for...but she will be forever in your hearts!! #10179445Chris Ebben June 16, 2012
Thanks Avril, we will all laugh when we talk about her, that's for sure. #10182230Thomas E. Hinds June 16, 2012
So sorry to hear about Chow, Chris! It is always difficult to lose such a friend. Chow was so fortunate to have lots of love around her. 17 years is a great life for a pup, though it seems way too short sometimes. #10182437Chris Ebben June 16, 2012
Thanks Thomas, you should have seen how she played on the floor with my cousin's Grandson who was in a wheelchair. She even crawled along on her belly to be down low like him. #10182983Jill Odice June 19, 2012
Sorry for your loss, She looked like a happy little dog! #10188929Graham Robards July 06, 2012
Oh Chris, this is so sad, very sad, to reach the grand old age of 17, far too short, our Bo who we recently lost was 171/2.Pat #10216738
