Description

This is the cook at a lobster shack in Rockport, Massachusetts. Since we stopped in mid-afternoon, I caught him during a rare lull in business.

Thanks, Dave. And here's a stray thread comment from Chris:

Love the perspective on this, at his feet... I hope you went in for some seafood later!

Actually, we had had the seafood and were on the way out when I took this, Chris. Yeah, funny perspective but I like it a lot, too :)

Nice capture - looks like fun and it makes me hungry.

I see some very colorful bumper hanging along the far side of the stairs... go back and shoot those some day, too!

We vacationed once in Rockport - and found it to be a really interesting place - especially for Midwestern folk. #10146105

Great shot, Nikki! I love the length of his leg reaching out to you! What lens did you use, if you don't mind me asking? (I have a sony too). #10148019

Thanks, everyone.
Hadn't even noticed the writing on the rocker back, Mel. Zoomed and can see "Over 60 or o . . . " I thought maybe "over the hill" but Mel suggested the rest would be "off your rocker" and I suspect she's right :)
I just used my kit lens here, Debbie: 18-70 mm, f3.5-5.6 The focal length was 22m
Trying to remember why the angle was so unusual - this was pretty much a grab shot that came out way better than I hoped :) #10148562

I know I've seen this before in another context. I think I told you then how much I liked it. Still do. #10163169
