The Hyde House

The Hyde House was built c.1870, at a cost of $250. Julia Hyde believed that having an eight-sided house prevented evil spirits from trapping her in corners. This home was dismantled and reconstructed piece by piece and can be found in the Genesee Country Village and Museum in Mumford, NY.
