Crocodile Waiting to Attack

Uploaded: May 10, 2012

Description

Sun warms the back of this large crocodile on the Rio Tarcoles mud banks, near Punta Leona, Costa Rica. This was taken from a boat about 100 feet away. Minutes later he charged at us and with his mouth open... I'll add the shot with this one... even though it is kind of blurry... You can see the glow in his eyes!

Great pics to go along with your scary experience. Did he charge at you just once? #10132954

We didn't stick around... revved up the boats motor and moved away. We actually got right up to a 25 foot Croc... while he was sleeping!
