BADLANDS 101

Uploaded: May 10, 2012

Description

Can only Imagine the horror in the eyes of the first Western Pioneers to be unfortunate enough to stumble into the BADLANDS on their way to Oregon.
Imagine having spent weeks traveling across flowing gentle grasslands then hitting this head on. The Height & Depth of these Rock formations are extreme and just start & stop without any warning .
BEAUTIFUL & FEARSOME all at the same time.

I needed to take a scenery break from wildlife posts So Off to the Travel Archives I went...
