Main Street Detail

Uploaded: April 21, 2012

Description

From Staunton, VA; one building at a corner on an intersection, had its main entry door set into a recessed, diagonal wall that essentially was
as if a slice had cut off the normal 90-degree corner/point of the building. That diagonal wall created a little stoop at the entry, covered above
by the upper floors overhanging the entryway. This single column supported them; I pressed myself against the door, to get the column in the shot.
