At 6:00 A.M., my best friend will undergo surgery, because of cancer that has come back after six years. If you can, please say a prayer or send a good thought sometime today for Kathy. Thank you.

Jack, Jeff, Inge, Tiia, Doug, Jean-Pierre, Carolyn, Bobby, Frank, Stef, Katherine, Nancy, Ann, Sherran, Karen, Kiki, and Tony, belated thanks to you all for your kind comments and good wishes for Kathy.
She told me the surgeon assured her they "got it all", because of early detection. And she was surprised and grateful to hear about the bp community's response to her situation, saying, "I guess it worked!"
