Very Cherry

The early blast of summery weather in southeast Pennsylvania (and all over the U.S.) caused the cherries to blossom way early. Most have gone by now, well in advance of the official Cherry Blossom Festival in Philadelphia on April 15. I guess we will just have to celebrate TAX DAY!

This pretty little bloom was photographed in a small park on the Schuylkill River, less than a mile from Boat House Row.
