Gorgeous capture!! :) Glad you got some blooms, I am still waiting!! #10069335Patricia A. Casey April 01, 2012
Thanks Tammy.....our yard is nothing but desert plants...Every spring I'm amazed at the blooms....haven't been out to our park to see the native hedgehogs bloom yet...but I hear they are doing real well...no wildflowers to speak of this year...not enough rain...oh well...glad I have these little ones at the house Cheers #10070196Dee Langevin April 11, 2012
Exquisite detail in these gorgeous blossoms Patricia! But so sad that they only last a day. At least you can enjoy them whenever you want through your wonderful photography! #10085331Patricia A. Casey April 11, 2012
Yes.....I'm lucky to be able to photograph these beautiful flowers...the lobivia blooms are one day only...the claretcup hedgehog blooms last a little longer....but usually once the cactus blooms that's it for the year....once in a while in the summer monsoons a plant might bloom again with the rain....but that is not the rule, but the exception...... #10085351Leslie McLain May 02, 2012
Stunning capture, Patricia. When I lived in Vegas I had these cactus and their flowers are amazing, althought short lived. #10117938Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
