Shooting through the Purple Description: Nikonians.org December 2012 Finalist in Close-Up Competition. This is an example of selective focus, use of shallow depth of field with a vividly colored bunch of purple daisies wherein I attempted to do something that Tony Sweet does which is to shoot through some of the flowers, capture a focal point with adjacent areas out of focus and blurred. I have mixed feeling except for the color. Others folks seem to like the image. Perhaps, it is being different that generates an interest in it. What do you think? I expect you think it should be far more in focus? Nonetheless, the color is neat. Uploaded on 3/28/2012 6:35:08 AM
