Mountains of Morado
Description: Close-up from an unusual wood box; cube-shaped, 5" to a side with each face sculpted into 9 little peaks. Each peak has 4 curving,
sloping sides, and each is capped by a tip of maple wood. (The box itself is morado wood, a Bolivian rosewood.)
Studying this delightful box for macro images, it struck me how much the peaks looked like, well, snow-capped mountain peaks.
