Gull Acrophobia?

Description

----
My post yesterday was a "long shot" of the "Trenton Makes..." Bridge. In this shot, I'm standing right at span level, a very short distance from the bridge.
----
This gull was pacing back and forth on the precipice of one of the bridge supports, looking down into the "drink." I thought he appeared nervous.
----
It reminded me of a long-ago experience when I was 22 years of age. I had ventured out onto a 3-meter diving board in San Juan, Puerto Rico. And THAT is the moment in which I discovered that my fear of heights would kick into gear even at comparatively meager altitudes.
-----
As I stood trembling at the end of the board, I could not even turn around and walk back to the ladder. I was FROZEN there. The lifeguard, exasperated, kept yelling to me, "JUMP!!!"
----
I eventually did jump, but not before sunburn blisters had formed on both shoulders.
----
So I yelled "JUMP!"

Cool capture and story, Michelle! I'm fine with heights as long as I have something to hold onto, so a diving board wouldn't be a happenin' thing for me either (besides which I can't swim...)! #10001156

Beautiful lighting and feather details on this lovely gull, Michelle.
