Catnap

Uploaded: February 18, 2012

Description

There are feral cats on the property where we are staying. They seem to be able to find the most unusual places to sleep. This one chose the shade of a car in the parking lot.
Maui Hawaii
This cat is part of a feral colony and is fed regularly. They are also spayed or neutered.

Well seen and captured, Heather. I really like the way the shapes of the bumper and the concrete frame the cat. #9990208

An excellent capture of this cat in repose, Heather!
We have a massive problems with ferel cats destroying our unique wildlife in the outback, some areas even have hunting days to try and keep the cat numbers down! #9990681

He sure looks "bagged"...Just sound asleep. It sure must be a hard life to be a ferel kitty. Poor babies. My sister has some where she is living and she tries to feed them but they aren't very trusting. Her last reports to me were that the Mom seems to be missing. They think she might have gotten trapped in the dumpster. :(

Not a care in the world! This cat surely knows how to take a siesta. Great capture Heather. I just feel bad for the kittens that are born and get abandoned by their mothers. #9990977
