Hi Fernanda,
I’m glad you visited my gallery again and you liked my “iris” series.
The EF-S 55-250 canon lens is a quite decent “cheap” lens, and there is lots of photo software that can be used to improve the photos taken with it.
I took all this photo series with a tripod, as I had to deal with very slow shutter speeds.
The diffuser is a white translucent disk that softens the direct sun light. In these photos there was a window that received full sun light behind the irises, so I put the diffuser between the window and the iris to soften the back sun light. The reflector is a silvery disk that can reflect direct light. I put the reflector at a front side of the iris, in a place receiving full sun light, and pointing to the flowers. This way I added more light to the front of the flowers that were in shadow (because the window light was in the back)
