Rouser

Uploaded: January 26, 2012

Description

In keeping with my series on my family of 17 kitties this is my outside female Calico "Rouser" so named as when she was a baby rescued with her mother and 3 other sibs she was the first to look you in the eye and hiss. She was a little rabble rouser and the name was very appropriate. She stays on back poach and backyard where she rules the roost.

She is a beauty, Emile! And she looks like she knows what she wants! I love calico cats. I had one and she was the best hunter. Only a year old and she caught all the moles and snakes in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, she was hit by the car and died. I still miss her a lot. This is a wonderful portrait of the member of your happy family! #1439306

She is most gorgeous, Emile! Tortoise shells have such strong little personalities, and their colourings make them all very pretty. (I used to have 18 kitties once, and my husband was most unimpressed!!) #9948928

What a beauty! And I love seeing one of your kitties, Emile! So, she's a feisty one is she?! Well don't wiggle your foot around in your deck chair too much this spring or you might regret it! HeeHee!

She's beautiful!

What a GORGEOUS kitty portrait here, Emile...and I LOVE your story of how she came to get her name of Rouser, too!! Wow, you have *quite* a family of cats there - Phil and I just have the one...a 'tuxedo' cat named Chocolate!! :-) #10277789

Rmile, I came to discover your lovely and take-charge Rouser in a round-about way...through Laura Swan's "Rusty" photo...
This is an excellent portrait of a beautiful cat ~ her colors are so well-mixed and pleasing to the eye.
