Mauro, Vendor at 24mm. 2 of 3

Description

ISO 1000; 1/30 sec at f/10; 24-105mm lens at 24mm; no flash; hand held. The 24mm tells the story, and even if the story is something about all this stuff to sell, I think the 50mm has enough of that and is less cluttered, so this is my second favorite of the three shots. I like how Mauro is framed in a circle of his stuff, but I'm not entirely happy with the shot. Maybe If I'd moved in even closer to make some of those dragons to the right of the puzzle seem larger. Other ideas? I'm still struggling with exposure, so I trusted the camera's pattern metering mode. If I'd taken just a second to look at the screen, I'd have stopped down 1/3-2/3. Fortunately the highlights weren't too blown out, so I lowered the exposure by 2/3 in Lightroom. That's the only adjustment I made to this photo.

Exif: F Number: 10, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/30 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 1000, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 24.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
