Thank you, Patti, Michele. and Melinda for your lovely comments. There were apartments and older homes just beyond the driveway of the Irving House that were painted dark red, and shades of blue. And, they created the background colors.

I tried to put this image over another winter scene in Maine, but the colors were too muted or something. It simply did not work as I hoped. Perhaps, this Christmas, the weather will be slightly different with either snow or sunny conditions. #9806873
