Montréal Culinary Emblem

Along with bagels, smoked meat is the other great legacy of the Jewish community to the gastronomy of Montréal. Usually served between two slices of rye bread with mustard, it is one of Montréal's culinary emblems. And it is definitely NOT to be confused with American pastrami!!
