Sunset Admiration

Uploaded: November 04, 2011

Description

This is another image from the beautiful sunset on Tuesday night (1-NOV-2011), and was taken 20 minutes before Sunset Wonderland. A new face to this sunset would emerge every several seconds, as I stood watching. I was mesmerized. The colors changed like fluid, merging and blending and mixing. Sunbeams danced gracefully out over the ocean, and across the sky. The low clouds crept closer and closer as if alive, and sometimes appeared out of thin air like a ghost. Such colorful lives, these sunsets have, but are far too short-lived.

Quote of the Day: “Admiration is a very short-lived passion that immediately decays upon growing familiar with its object, unless it be still fed with fresh discoveries, and kept alive by a perpetual succession of miracles rising into view.” ~Joseph Addison
