Tribal Fisherman at Sherars Falls

ISO 200, f/11, 1/60, Canon 100-400 at 350 mm, tripod. Sherars Falls is a traditional Indian fishing grounds, and the Warm Springs Tribe continues to fish in the 'old ways.' They use very large dip nets (attached to the vertical pole in the image) held in the falls until a salmon or steelhead swims in. They tell when a fish is in the net with a small cord attached to the net and held in their hand.
